Darío Meta holds an intense activity as a pianist. In recent years he has performed in venues such as the Royal Theater in Madrid, the Circle of Fine Arts in Madrid, the Berlin City Council, Laeiszhalle in Hamburg or the Beethoven-Haus in Bonn, and in festivals such as Classics in Summer (Community of Madrid ) or Lateinamerika Herbst (Hamburg), among many other commitments. His work as a classical music disseminator of the new generation has led him to collaborate with RTVE or Yamaha Music, among other entities, and to focus a good part of his activity on concerts with commentary, in which he includes repertoire by contemporary young composers and live improvisation.

Darío Meta mantiene una intensa actividad como pianista. En los últimos años ha actuado en salas como el Teatro Real de Madrid, el Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid, el Ayuntamiento de Berlín, Laeiszhalle de Hamburgo o la Beethoven-Haus de Bonn, y en festivales como Clásicos en Verano (Comunidad de Madrid) o Lateinamerika Herbst (Hamburgo), entre otros muchos compromisos. Su labor en el terreno de la divulgación musical de nueva generación le ha llevado a colaborar con RTVE o Yamaha Música, entre otras entidades, y a centrar una buena parte de su actividad en los conciertos comentados, en los que incluye el repertorio de compositores contemporáneos y la improvisación.
EVENTOS
Un músico que no entiende de fronteras, Darío Meta, ha realizado grabaciones para Radio Clásica (Radio Nacional de España), en los programas Música Joven y Estudio 206. Ha actuado en los festivales Lateinamerika Herbst de Hamburgo (Alemania), Klosterkonzerte Maulbronn (Alemania), Schleswig-Holstein (Alemania), Classical Beat (Alemania), Festival de Jóvenes Pianistas de Sigüenza (España) y el Festival Internacional de Primavera de la Universidad de Salamanca (España).
SCHEDULE
Meta’s calendar includes solo piano recitals, chamber music, improvisation, concerts with presentation and comments, collaboration in the media and activities as a music popularizer in institutions and conservatories.

In his facet of disseminator and communicator, Darío Meta has collaborated in the magazine of the National Federation of Music Students with the blog Why should conservatories change? and gave a talk about music at TED Talks. Since 2018 he has been a regular collaborator to Classical Radio, with the section ‘El Piano en Vivo’ , in the ‘Symphony of the Morning’ Radio Show. From July to September 2019 he presents his own music broadcasting program on this same station, where he also plays live music weekly:
